Crawford Williams, 77, of Hannibal, MO, passed away Friday, June 20, 2025 at his home.
The family will host a Life Celebration at a later date.
Private Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery in New London, MO.
Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of the James O’Donnell Funeral Home.
Crawford was born June 13, 1948, in Hannibal, MO to Albert Williams Sr. and Alma Lee Stewart Williams.
Survivors include a special niece whom he loved like a daughter, Charlotte “Sis” Scott; four sisters: Charlotte Mayfield, Mary Holland, Wanda Burrage (Jim), and Margaret Faison (Joe); and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Crawford was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers: Emmitte Williams, Albert Williams Jr., Delbert Williams, Ray Williams, Donald Williams, and Robert “Bobby” Williams; and two sisters: Sharon Collier and Karen Williams.
Crawford was a graduate of Hannibal High School.
Professionally, Crawford worked as a welder for Atlantic Steel for many years.
Away from work, Crawford was an avid reader and loved to watch his favorite soap opera, The Young and the Restless. A sports lover, Crawford also enjoyed watching football, basketball, and baseball, with the Cardinals being his favorite team. Black was Crawford’s favorite color, and at any given moment you could catch him in one of his sweat suits, which were a staple. Watching Jeopardy, listening to the news, or taking a stroll in Riverview Park were a few of Crawford’s favorites. Most of all, Crawford cherished the time he could spend with his family and friends and will be deeply missed by all that knew him.
Crawford was a Christian by faith.
