Conrad R. Kozik, 73, of Spencer, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at his home. Born on January 2, 1952 in Neillsville to Leon and Hazel (Montgomery) Kozik. He served his country when he joined the US Army National Guard. He was employed at Land O’Lakes in Spencer for 42 years.
On September 2, 1972, he was united in marriage to Sandra Cernik in Neillsville.
Conrad loved rifle and bowhunting for whitetails; fishing over at Hatfield or up in Canada or spending time with family and friends while camping at Hatfield and Russell Memorial Park. He was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers and could sit back and enjoy a Bud Light or Busch Light NA from time to time. He loved spending time with his niece and nephews and loved them all like they were his own kids.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Sandy; his sisters, Judy (Paul) Beisel of Oregon, Bonnie Shannon of Mosinee, Sharon (Greg) Magnuson of Neillsville, and Sandy (Bobby) Bauer of Marshfield; his brothers, Calvin (Jola) Kozik of Chili and Corwyn (Rhonda) Kozik of Marshfield; and his niece and nephews, Camron and Cooper. He is further missed by his mother-in-law, Velva Cernik; his hunting buddy and brother-in-law, Jerry Cernik, his sister-in-law, Carol (Al) Becker; and his loving and trusted canine companion “Penny” along with many other relatives, friends, and neighbors.
Conrad is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Hazel Kozik and his father-in-law, Vern Cernik.
Per Conrad’s wishes, private services with family will be held.
