Connie Scyoc
Connie Lynn Scyoc, 75, of Hannibal, MO, passed away at 8:00 PM Friday, October 10, 2025 at Beth Haven Nursing Home in Hannibal, MO.
Services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of the James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO.
Connie was born July 7, 1950, in Peoria, IL to John Scyoc IV and Shirley Scyoc.
Survivors include two children: Tracy Hodges of Hannibal, MO and Kimberly Fancher of Galesburg, IL; one special niece, Amy Sims; two brothers: Jimmy Hermann and John Scyoc V; three sisters: Deanna Vinovich (Robert), Allegra Scyoc Clark, and Kelly Hickman; and five grandchildren: Michael Hodges, Charles Longcor, Summer Longcor, Tyler Fox, and Olivia Fancher; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents and her grandparents that raised her: John Scyoc Jr. and Allegra Belle Firestone Scyoc.
Over the years, Connie was a truck driver, a childcare provider, and most recently a Certified Nurse’s Assistant.
Away from work, Connie enjoyed working crossword puzzles, crocheting, reading romance novels, and an ice cold Pepsi. A wonderful cook, one of Connie’s specialties was her cream chipped beef. Most of all, Connie enjoyed the time she could spend with her family.
She was a Methodist by faith.
