Your kindness, compassion and care will never be forgotten. A very special thank you to his loving niece Dayna Paul for her compassionate loving care to Claude prior to his hospital admission.

Claude made his career as a Millwright for over 30 years where he started working at the mines in Wabush, Labrador and ended in Labatt Breweries in St. Johns.

Together, Claude and Viola raised their children with endless love, support and guidance.

Claude was their biggest supporter. You could find him at the rink, tying both hockey and figure skates and cheering from the bleachers. He was full of pride watching them succeed in their choice of sport.

Claude was the BEST. He had a big heart, always putting others first. He was genuine, considerate, quiet, with a dry sense of humour and loved to make people laugh.

Family was Claude’s entire world. He was truly devoted to Viola, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They completed his world.

Claude found his peace next to the water at Paddy’s Pond where he loved to cast a line and fish. When he wasn’t fishing you could find him enjoying the Blue Jays or the Boston Bruins.

We have endless memories of him that we will forever cherish and hold in our hearts.
