Clarita Goodhart

Clarita Louise Goodhart, 94 of Hannibal, MO passed away at 2:10 AM, Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Luther Manor Nursing Center in Hannibal, MO.

Private graveside services for family and burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, MO.

There will be no visitation.

The family is being served by the James O’Donnell Funeral Home of Hannibal, MO.

Clarita was born on November 17, 1930 in Hannibal, MO to William Hullbert Turney and Opal L. Perkins Turney.

She was married to Roy H. Goodhart on May 28, 1948 in Hannibal, MO. He preceded her in death on June 28, 1994.

Also preceding Clarita in death were her parents and one daughter, Becky Motzkus.

Survivors include: two sons: Roy H. “Sparky” Goodhart (Sue) of Hannibal, MO and Russell Goodhart (Angi) of Hannibal, MO; nine grandchildren: Heather Crane, Megee Miller (Scott), Roy Goodhart, Teri Koestner (Adam), Joe Goodhart (Marissa), Kelly Goodhart (Kaleb Berry), Jennifer Ruhl, Eric Ancell (Nicole) and Matt Ancell (Bridgette), sixteen great grandchildren and one expectant great grandchild due on April 26th and one great greatgrandchild.

Clarita retired from Goodhart Realty, where she was a real estate broker for many years.

In her free time, Clarita loved to travel with her husband, Roy. Together they enjoyed many trips and camping adventures. Clarita also liked to fish with her husband. Times shared with family were among Clarita’s favorites. She was a member of the Order of the Easter Star.

Clarita was a lifetime member of the Fifth Street Baptist Church in Hannibal, where she was an active member.
