Clara Bayne

Clara Andrea Marie (Burlando) Bayne, 84, passed away on July 25, 2025, at Vincentian Personal Care Home in Pittsburgh, PA.

A daughter of the late Andrew P. Burlando and Dora Clara (Cuffia) Burlando, she was born on February 23, 1941, in Gilpin Township, PA. Clara attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and obtained her Bachelors and Master’s degrees in Elementary Education.

Clara had worked as a 2nd grade elementary school teacher in Burrell School District, Armstrong County for over 30 years before retiring. She was a long-time resident of Vincentian Villas where she and her husband resided. She enjoyed reading and sewing and was extremely faithful to the Catholic Church attending mass daily.

Survivors include numerous cousins and staff and friends at Vincentian. Her husband Thomas B. Bayne and her sister Frances C. Burlando predeceased her. The family is very appreciative of the entire Vincentian Community for the many years of care and for Bridges Hospice near the end of her life.
