Christine Llewellyn
North Canton – Christine Llewellyn, passed away July 7, 2025 after a lengthy battle with a subtle cancer. Born July 10, 1941, she is survived by her husband of 64 years, Dave, and by her sons Dane and Eric (Adrienne) Llewellyn, both of the Canton area.
Chris was a devoted mother and worked as a parental volunteer screener against specific childhood eye health issues in the elementary-aged children of the community. She was a stay at home Mom and enjoyed every day of making a house a warm family home. Chris also enjoyed golf with her girl friends and tried to learn how to snow ski and play tennis but admitted these were a bit far beyond her athletic skill levels! Dave and Chris were avid boaters and over some thirty years vacationed on numerous lakes in Ohio and neighboring states. The highlights of her life were her grandchildren, Dane Thomas (Hanna) and Savanna. Just months before she was called, Dane and Hanna brought a wonderful baby boy, Addison, to the world. Survivors also include sister Marty Stephens and brother Bob Shoemaker, both of the Dallas Texas area. No calling hours are planned. In her memory, a private family service will be conducted.
