Chester A. Podosek: 1925 – 2025, 99 years old; loving husband of the late Lorriane, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle of numerous nieces, nephews and friends; longtime resident of Glenview, IL and Naples, FL; longtime parishioner of OLPH; Successful businessman and engineer (University of Illinois, Champaign); Veteran of World War II, serving in U.S. Navy, stationed in the Pacific. His time on this earth, was serving mankind with love and compassion. Was a true leader from an era considered the “best of the best.”  Visitation Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 9 a.m. until time of Prayer Service at 10:30 a.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home 1104 Waukegan Road, Glenview, and then processing to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 1775 Grove St, Glenview, IL., for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.  Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles, IL.  For Funeral info call 847-901-4012.
