Charles Herrick

Oxford- Charles Walter Herrick passed away in his home on July 2, 2025, at the age of 74. Charles was born in Mechanic Falls on November 16, 1950. The son of Georgia Anna Crockett and Wilmont Herrick, Sr.

He attended Mechanic Falls Schools and graduated from Edward Little High School in 1969. He was employed at Bates Mill for 31 years and finished his career at HP Hood in 2018.

He married Margaret Elizabeth Marston on October 10, 1970, and later divorced in 2008. Together they had 2 children. Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping as well as spending time with his family. He was always known for his hard work and amazing ability to fix, grow and do just about anything.

Charles is survived by his children Chad & Danielle Herrick of Oxford and Brandi & Christopher Mynahan of Lewiston; two grandchildren Dakota Herrick and Jacob Mynahan; and great grandchildren Maddylynn Herrick. He is survived by his brothers and sisters Wilmont & Ruth Herrick of Mechanic Falls, Chester Herrick of West Bethel, Janice & Roy Biardi of Mechanic Falls, Ronald & Deborah Herrick of Oxford, David & Wendy Herrick of Otisfield, Thomas Herrick of Mechanic Falls, and Patricia Springer of Dexter.

Charles was predeceased by his parents; granddaughter Sierra Herrick; 3 brothers Donald, Wayne and Albert Herrick; one sister Jeanette Ness; and sister-in-law Thirza Herrick.
