Cecil Arcilla

Cecil Cunanan Arcilla peacefully passed away to return home to Our Lord, on October 23, 2025. He was in the presence of his family, who showered him with the greatest of love. He is survived by his beautiful and nurturing wife, Sabrina; his four children, whom he was very proud of: Warren, Cerwin, Christina, and Christian; daughters and son-in-law who he loved as his own: Jessica, Joyce, Blake, and Abby; and eleven grandchildren that he deeply adored: Des, Gabi, GraceLynn, Charlie, Mila, Inah, Elly, Rosie, Lani, Jayce, and Isla.

Cecil is also survived by his loving siblings: Angelo, Alfredo, Jourdan, Nerisa, Vivian, Donna, Cheryl, Jesus Jr., Rosanne, and Elaine and their caring and supportive spouses.

Cecil Cunanan Arcilla was born on September 20, 1954, in Caridad, Cavite, and grew up in Masantol, Pampanga. He was the sixth of eleven siblings. He honorably served in the United States Air Force before marrying the love of his life, Sabrina, and raising four children together, in California, Kansas, and the Philippines. Cecil was a computer engineer for over twenty years at Sprint. A true entrepreneur, he founded several international and domestic businesses.

Many would describe and remember Cecil (aka Cel) as a devoted husband, loving son, nicest brother, hardworking father, playful Apu, charming cousin, nurturing pamangkin, innovative businessman, honorable veteran, barkada of the Plaza Boys, godfather to his inaanaks, and a genuine comrade. As the most popular kid on the block, he got along well with everyone and had natural charisma, which often made him a natural leader among his peers. Cecil had the gift of always bringing people together, wherever he would be. Though we will deeply miss his earthly presence, his spirit and soul will continue to shine brightly in our memories and forever live on, in our hearts!

“We love you Cel! You are our hero dad! We miss you so much Apu!”
