Cathy Cramer

Cathy Jean Cramer, 73, of Martinsville, gained eternal rest at 11:35 AM on Saturday, October 25th, 2025, at her residence after months of failing health. Her life began on Sunday, September 21st, 1952, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Cathy was one of five children born to the late Otto Ingram and Lucille (Brock).

She lived in Indianapolis throughout much of her younger years, moving to Martinsville as a teenager and graduating from Martinsville High School with the class of 1970. In December of 1977, Cathy married the love of her life, Mickey Dean Cramer. The two shared nearly 48 years of marriage and were known to be inseparable.

Cathy was a devoted homemaker and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to read and above all, she adored her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Mickey Cramer of Martinsville; two sons, Corey Cramer of Martinsville and Kristopher Reynolds of South Carolina; brother, Donnie Ingram of Indiana; sister, Elaine Ingram of Mooresville; five beloved granddaughters, Tiffany Cramer, Lilly Reynolds, Brittany Reynolds, Lucy Cramer and Riley Cramer; and one great granddaughter, Carsen Whitehouse.

Along with her parents, Otto Ingram and Lucille Hyde, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy and Timmy Ingram.

At this time there will be no formal services. The family has honored Cathy’s wishes for cremation.
