The Nevada Humane Society, Carson City branch currently has one cat and one dog being held as strays at their Carson City campus.
The cat, “Bell Bottoms,” is a male cat around five years of age with medium to long trim-colored fur, with a white chest and front legs, and light brown and grey markings along his back.
The dog “Leo” is a male white and brown small breed dog, possibly a chihuahua mix, found with a grey collar. He is approximately eight years old, has a brown head and large upright brown ears, a white body and legs with brown freckles on his paws, and a brown patch on his hindquarters and base of his tail.
“The pets listed have recently come into our care in Carson City,” a spokesperson for the Humane Society wrote. “They were either found by kindhearted individuals who couldn’t locate their owners or were picked up as strays by our Humane Enforcement Officers. All lost pets are held for five days to give their owners a chance to reclaim them. After this period, unclaimed pets become available for adoption, allowing them to find a new loving home.”
If you are missing your furry friend, please visit the Humane Enforcement Lobby Monday 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. & Tuesday – Saturday 8 a.m. – 6:30 p.m at 549 Airport Road in Carson City. All information for the stray log is sourced on the day of publication from the Nevada Humane Society’s website. To learn more, visit them here.
