Carson City’s Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Lemonhead

Carson City’s Catmandu introduces their Cat of the Week: Lemonhead

The name Lemonhead suits this adorable boy perfectly — he’s sweet, occasionally a little bit sour, and full of mischief! Estimated to be around 7 months old, this white-and-black cutie is bursting with personality.

Lemonhead is playful, active, and curious about everything. When he’s not chasing toys or exploring, he loves to curl up in your lap for attention — or steal your chair the second you get up! He’s a wonderful mix of affectionate and independent, with just enough sass to keep you laughing. He is healthy and full of life.

He’d do best in an active home without small children, where he can get plenty of the playtime and interaction that he demands. Lemonhead gets along well with other friendly cats, though his feelings about dogs are unknown.

Neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, Lemonhead came from a multiple-cat situation of 30 cats that had overwhelmed a small shelter. They reached out for help, which is how Lemonhead and his 4 friends ended up at Catmandu. Now he’s ready to start a new chapter in a forever home — one filled with love, fun, and plenty of comfy chairs and laps to call his own.

Come meet Lemonhead at Catmandu this weekend and add a little sweetness to your life.  Catmandu is located at 1829 Brown Street. We are open Friday – Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm. Please come early if you plan to adopt.

Catmandu is a local cage-free non-profit cat sanctuary and rescue. We receive no government funding or assistance from national organizations. We rely on donations and the generosity of our community to continue our lifesaing efforts. If you are interested in donating or volunteering, please visit our website at CatmanduCC.org.

Meow means thank you.
