Carson City Sheriff’s Office K9 Challenge around the corner

By Sgt. Nate Brehm — The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce the 4th annual K9 Challenge, taking place on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at Fuji Park, 601 Old Clear Creek Road, Carson City, Nev. Gates open at 9 a.m., and the event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Attendees will enjoy:
- Exciting K9 competitions featuring law enforcement K9 teams from across the region
- Live demonstrations showcasing the incredible skills of K9 units
- On-Site Food trucks and refreshments available for purchase.
- Exclusive K9 Challenge T-shirts and merchandise available for purchase
The K9 Challenge provides the community with a unique opportunity to witness the dedication, discipline, and teamwork between law enforcement officers and their K9 partners. Come cheer on your local heroes and their four-legged partners as they demonstrate their abilities in competition.
