Carson City road report for week of June 9-15
Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of June 9 to June 15, 2025. Closures and lane reductions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work.
Second Street between Carson Street and Curry Street will be closed to westbound traffic from April 8, 2024, to June 30, 2025, for construction.
Gentry Lane between Snyder Avenue and Bennett Avenue will be closed to thru traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Hudson Drive between Conte Drive and Gentry Lane will be closed to thru traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Menlo Drive between Lompa Lane and Airport Road will be closed to thru traffic from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
The Multi-Use Path near the Governors Field Complex between Roop Street and Saliman Road will be closed from May 5, 2025, to June 12, 2025, for pavement patching. Cyclists will be provided with detours.
The Multi-Use Path near Fremont Elementary School between Saliman Road and I-580 will be closed from May 26, 2025, to June 10, 2025, for pavement patching. Cyclists will be provided with detours.
Plaza Street between William Street and Washington Street will be closed to thru traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Silver Sage Drive between Stafford Way and Somerset Drive will be closed to northbound traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Snyder Avenue between Conte Drive and Gentry Lane will be closed to thru traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Stafford Way between Baker Drive and Silver Sage Drive will be closed to thru traffic from Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Stafford Way between Silver Sage Drive and Heaton Way will be closed to traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Telegraph Street between Carson Street and Curry Street will be closed to traffic on Saturday, from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm for the “Summer 2025 Downtown Throw Down” Cornhole Tournament.
Travis Drive between Silver Sage Drive and Stafford Way will be closed to thru traffic from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
Curry Street between Lake Glen Drive and Rhodes Street will have reduced lanes from Monday through Tuesday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Fairview Drive between Edmonds Drive and Desatoya Drive will have northbound lane restrictions on Monday, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Fleischmann Way between Division Street and Mountain Street will have eastbound shoulder closures from June 2, 2025, to June 13, 2025, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Northbound Roop Street between Randell Drive and Mallory Way will be reduced to a single lane from May 5, 2025, to June 12, 2025.
Stewart Street between William Street and Little Lane will have single lane closures from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Elsewhere, motorists are advised to leave extra travel time as additional daytime lane reductions and shifts take place the week of June 8 on the U.S. 50 Stateline, South Lake Tahoe Stateline casino corridor as part of a continuing Nevada Department of Transportation highway repaving project.
