Carson City road report for week of June 30 to July 6

Here is the Carson City road report for the week of June 30 to July 6, 2025. Readers can also now go here to view a map of closures and lane reductions happening this week at the following locations due to road/utility work.

2nd St between Carson St and Curry St will be closed to westbound traffic through July 18 for construction.

2nd St between Thompson St and Division St will be closed on Saturdays, from June 21 to August 23, 6:30pm – 10:30pm, for the Levitt Amp Summer Concert series.

Commerce Wy between N Lompa Ln and Executive Pointe Wy will be closed to thru traffic from Monday through Thursday, 7am-5:30pm.

Ethel Way will be closed to thru traffic on Monday and Tuesday, 7:30am-5:30pm.

Gentry Ln between Snyder Ave and Bennett Ave will be closed to thru traffic on Monday and Tuesday, 7:30am-5:30pm.

Hudson Dr between Conte Dr and Gentry Ln will be closed to thru traffic on Monday and Tuesday, 7:30am-5:30pm.

Menlo Dr between Lompa Lane and Airport Road will be closed to thru traffic from Monday through Thursday, 7am-5:30pm.

Minnesota St between 2nd St and 3rd St will be closed on Saturdays, from June 21 to August 23, 6:30pm – 10:30pm, for the Levitt Amp Summer Concert series.

The multi-use path near the Governors Field Complex between Roop St and Saliman Rd will be closed from Monday through Friday, for pavement patching. Cyclists will be provided with detours.

The multi-use path along Saliman Rd between Sonoma St and Kingsley Ln will be closed from Monday through Friday, for pavement patching. Cyclists will be provided with detours.

W William St between Nevada St and Division St will be closed on Tuesday July 1 from 7am-5pm for tree pruning.

William St between Carson St and Stewart St will be closed Mon through Wednesday from 7am-5:30pm for utility work.

Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility improvements:

College Pkwy between N Lompa Ln and Silver Ln will have single lane closures Monday through Thursday, 7am-5:30pm.

Fleischmann Wy between Division St and Mountain St will have eastbound shoulder closures from June 2 to August 31, 7am-5pm.

Mallory Wy, east of Roop St will have lane shifts Monday through Thursday, 7am-5:30pm.

N Lompa Ln between E Nye Ln and College Pkwy will have lane shifts Monday through Thursday, 7 am to 5:30pm.

Roop St between Winnie Ln and Northridge Dr will be reduced to a single lane with flagger control from June 30 to July 18, 7am-5pm.
