Carson City emergency crews called to second vehicle crash Saturday involving pedestrian

For the second time Saturday, Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called to a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian, the latest happening in the 1800 block of Brown Street.

The incident was reported at 5:11 p.m. and appears to be a hit and run. Carson City Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating. The condition of the pedestrian is unknown at this time. They were taken by ambulance to the hospital. Motorists can expect delays.

Earlier, at 2:45 p.m., Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called to an incident involving a vehicle and pedestrian near the intersection of North Carson and Winnie Lane. In that crash, the pedestrian suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital.
