Carson City emergency crews called to rollover at Long and Roop Street

UPDATE 1:51PM: One person was taken to the hospital following a two vehicle crash at the intersection of East Long and Roop Street in which one of the vehicles rolled over and wound up on its wheels, according to a Carson City Sheriff’s Office sergeant. The driver of the vehicle that rolled suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital via ambulance.

Motorists can expect delays.

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called Tuesday afternoon to a vehicle accident, reportedly a rollover, near the intersection of East Long and Roop Streets.

The crash, which involves two vehicles, was reported at 1:23 p.m. Motorists should stay clear of the area.
