Carson City emergency crews called to crash at intersection of I-580 and Spooner Junction

A vehicle crash that happened Monday afternoon at the intersection of I-580 near Spooner junction in south Carson City resulted in a person who said they had suffered back and neck pain.

The crash was reported to the Nevada Highway Patrol at around 2:28 p.m. at the intersection. During the NHP investigation, one of the people involved later informed them that they wanted to be checked for injuries. Carson City Fire Department responded at 3:57 p.m. to the scene to evaluate the woman and determine whether she needs to be taken to the hospital.

Motorists can expect delays.
