Carson City Elks Lodge donates $1,200 for Carson City Senior Center’s Meals on Wheels

Marian Furnari, Elks Lodge No. 2177 member, presents a check for $1,200 to Courtney Warner, Director of the Carson City Senior Center. The money was raised from a Murder Mystery Play that the Elks Lodge and the Emblem Club #507 put on annually to benefit worthwhile local endeavors.

This donation is slated to support the Senior Center’s Meals on Wheels Program, which provides a nutritious, fresh meal delivered Monday through Friday and frozen meals for weekend and holiday closures. The meals are prepared and packaged in their commercial kitchen.
