Carrie Jo Ralston, age 95, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 6, 2025 at The Hospice House in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was surrounded by love, music, and the sounds of nature.

Originally from Bedford, Kentucky, Carrie Jo grew up working in the fields and fruit market of Bray’s Orchard, founded by her grandfather ‘Daddy Jo’ in 1910. Her greatest joys were found in singing, playing the piano, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones.

She is survived by her sister Jamae Bray Pyles, son-in-law Richard Vance, grandchildren Benjamin Vance (Kelli Disney) and Kaleigh Jo Vance (Justin Trammell), and great-grandchildren Bryson Vance and Gracie Disney.

Carrie Jo was preceded in death by her three children: David T. Ralston, Samuel L. Ralston, and Alma Jo Vance. Carrie often shared her excitement about being reunited with them again in heaven.
