Carolyn Moos
Carolyn M. Moos, age 87 of Yorkville, IL passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born on January 9, 1938 in Aurora, IL the daughter of John and Viola (Kimpon) Barilla.
Carolyn was united in marriage to Mr. Ronald Moos on May 14, 1960 and they have spent the next 65 years happily together. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Moos of Yorkville, IL; her daughter, Michelle Abbott of Cortland, IL; her grandchildren, Adam Wold, Robert Moos, Allison (James) Dumas, Eric and (Rebecca) Moos; her great-grandchildren; her sister, Julia Barilla of Hinckley, IL; as well as her nieces and nephews.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, John and Viola Barilla; her son, Ronald E. Moos Jr.; her siblings, Dorothy Albright, Richard Barilla, Joseph Barilla and John Barilla.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Nelson Funeral Home, 1617 North Bridge Street, Yorkville, IL. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Bristol, IL.
Friends may visit from 11:00 AM until the Hour of Service at the Funeral Home in Yorkville, IL.
