Carole LeCorps was born on October 20, 1976, at Nyack Hospital to Yolette Jean-Gilles. She was a tiny miracle, weighing only 3 lbs 15 oz at birth. Our mother always said that Carole didn’t cry much as a baby. She was raised by our great-grandmother, Amiona Jean-Gilles. Carole began her education in Haiti, but after a few trips back, she attended schools in Nyack. Though she had a small circle of friends, Carole was known for bring a beautiful, sweet soul – quiet, yet with a heart full of love.
Carole married Mack Malivert and became Mrs. Carole Malivert. Together, they shared 27 years of marriage. Carole always dreamed of a better life for her children, in pursuit of that dream, they moved to Maryland, where they raised their family.
Carole was a woman of deep faith. She loved God, and it was clear that God loved her. Even in her final days, she believed that God could do the impossible. Carole was a fighter and drew strength from her children, but it was God’s will for her to gain her wings and be welcomed into eternal life with her Lord and Savior.
Carole leaves behind 11 beloved children: Jonas, Marianne, Junior, Jenny, Sarah, Elijah, Matthew, Daphnne, Bobby, David and Arianna.
Carole was a also a proud grandmother to Gabriel.
Carole Malivert was God’s daughter first and foremost, before she was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, or friend.
Forever Beautiful!!!
John 3:16 (NIV)
