Bruce Kirkpatrick

Bruce Kirkpatrick, 77, passed away on December 6, 2025, in Chicago. He was born in Chicago on April 3, 1948, the son of Clayton Kirkpatrick and Thelma De Mott Kirkpatrick.

He graduated from Glenbard West High School, Miami University, and the Northwestern University School of Law. He was an attorney in San Francisco and Chicago and an enthusiastic student of ancient Mayan cultures.

He was predeceased by his parents, Clayton and Thelma Kirkpatrick; and his sister, Eileen Kirkpatrick Vaughan.

He is survived by his brother, James Kirkpatrick, his sister, Pamela Kirkpatrick; nieces and nephews, Anna Sitter, Maureen Vaughan, Audrey Griffith, Brian Foy, and Cason Kirkpatrick; and longtime friend, Jacqueline Vossler.

Private services will be held later with burial at the North Clinton Cemetery, Waterman, IL.
