Beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Age 92 years. Son of the late Guy and Thelma (Rabe) Coggin, Bruce was born January 4, 1933, in Saginaw, Michigan. He married high school sweetheart, Joan L. Adams, on June 6, 1954, in Saginaw. She predeceased him March 10, 2022. Bruce was a mason at Beacher Masons for over 25 years. He enjoyed golf, bowling, woodworking, stain glass and spending time with his family.
Surviving to cherish his memory are one son, Brian and Susan Coggin; a daughter, Wendy and Scott Laurenz; three grandchildren, Garret and Coreen Coggin, Megan and Justin Biddle, Adam and Kaitlyn Smith; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Honoring Mr. Coggin’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2025, at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (between Shattuck and McCarty). Rev. Josh Parsons will officiate with burial of cremains to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
