Brian Fron

Brian James Fron, 38, of West Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on June 30, 2025. Born at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida, on January 8, 1987, Brian lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to his family.

A devoted husband and father, Brian is survived by his loving wife of seven years, Shawna Fron, and their two beautiful children, James (7) and Madelyn (3). Brian’s world revolved around his family, and he dedicated himself fully to provide for them. He was the proud owner of Iowa Freight, where he channeled his determination and work ethic into building something of his own.

Brian was a man of great intelligence, kindness, and charisma. He had a big heart and a generous spirit. He loved fishing and spending time outdoors with his children, sharing simple moments that brought joy and lasting memories. Whether through his jokes, his strong embrace, or his quiet support, Brian touched the lives of everyone around him.

He is also survived by his father, James Fron; his mother and stepfather, Donna and Bill Bistrican; and his brothers: Adam Fron and family — Athena Fron and their children Mika, Greyson, Luke, Ella, and Logan; Allen Fron and his family — Lindsay Gush and their children Oliver, Elijah, and Lennon; and Nathan Bistrican and his wife Patricia Bistrican.

Brian’s absence leaves a hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will be remembered as a loving husband, a dedicated father, a loyal son and brother, and a hard-working, generous man who will continue to be honored through the love he gave, the lessons he shared and the memories left behind.
