Bonnie V. Williams, 77, of Hannibal, MO, passed away at 5:45 AM, Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO.
A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 25, 2025, at James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Fr. Greg Meystrik will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal, MO.
Friends and Family are invited to Bonnie’s Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the funeral home.
Bonnie was born on September 14, 1948, in Hannibal, MO to Charles Ike Moyers and Golda Welch Moyers.
She was married to Kenneth Eugene Williams on April 23, 1966, in Hannibal, MO. He survives.
Other survivors include her two children, Douglas Eugene Williams (Anne) of Hannibal, MO and Jamie Lee Williams (Rachael) of Hannibal, MO; one sister, Gloria Hendren (Larry) of New London, MO; three grandchildren, Cody D. Williams (Ashlyn), Cory E. Williams (Megan), and Travis C. Williams (Emily); seven great grandchildren, Laurel T. Williams, Asher C. Williams, Elyse E. Williams, Adalynn R. Williams, Maveric G. Brothers, Carter C. Williams, and Gregory Cormier.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; and nine siblings.
Bonnie retired from Beth Haven Nursing Home where she was a cook for over 10 years.
A fan of St. Louis Cardinals baseball and the Kansas City Chiefs football, Bonnie enjoyed watching games with Kenny. Bonnie found great pleasure in watching westerns and crime shows. Bonnie’s competitive spirit shone brightly when she played card games, especially pitch. Not only did Bonnie enjoy games of chance and strategy, but she also enjoyed going to the casino where you could find her playing video poker. In the kitchen, Bonnie was unmatched. Her meatloaf, deviled eggs and cabbage rolls were always family favorites. The American Legion was a second home to Bonnie, where she loved to hang out, laugh, and share stories with her close friends. Above all, Bonnie cherished the memories made with her friends and family and she will be deeply missed.
Bonnie was Catholic by faith.
