Bobbie Ballard Gaters
On Saturday, November 2, 2024, Mrs. Bobbie Lee Ballard Gaters, beloved widow of Mr. Paul Gaters, exchanged time for eternity surrounded by her family and friends – leaving them with great sadness. Born on March 15, 1939 in Cheraw, South Carolina to the late Robert and Carrie Lee Brunson Ballard. Bobbie attended the public schools of Clarendon County.
She accepted Christ and was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Summerton.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories a daughter, Dorothy Ballard; a son, Paul Gaters, Jr.; nine grandchildren, Curtis Ballard, Daviah Evans, Terry (Miranda) Ballard, Kalika, Aleigha, Paul, Mallachi and Zyon; thirteen great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends she loved dearly.
