Betty Ruth Goodson Underwood

Betty Ruth Goodson Underwood, age 77, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, in Greer, South Carolina. Born on November 6, 1947, in Dade County, Florida, she was the beloved daughter of the late Herscil Hill Goodson and Annie Ruth Duke Goodson.

Betty was a devoted wife who was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Russell Underwood. She leaves behind a loving legacy through her children, Dawn Webster, Theresa Keegan, Kathy Ackerman, and Jeff Underwood. Her memory will also be cherished by her nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, as well as her sister, Deborah Railsback, who brought immense joy and pride to her life.
