Barbara Littrell

Barbara Ella Littrell age 82, of Strunk passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025 in Corbin, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Hickman-Strunk Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Stephens Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home.

She was born April 3, 1943 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Elbert Stephens and Ida King Stephens. Barbara dedicated her career to caring for others, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the healthcare field until her retirement. A member of Christ the King Anglican Church in Whitley City, she found joy in her faith and community. Barbara had a passion for crocheting and took great pride in her cooking and canning—especially her homemade fruits, vegetables, and jellies. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, who were the heart of her life.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her beloved, Walter Strange, brothers, Ronald Stephens and Melvin Stephens, and sisters, Katherine Stephens and Frances Burke.

Survivors include sons, Curtis “Tiger” Littrell (Melissa), Frank Littrell, and Jess Littrell (Monica), a daughter, Beth Littrell (Nathan Flippin), brothers, Joe Stephens (Lynn), Bruce Stephens (Ella), and Tim Stephens (Peggy), grandchildren, Allie, Samantha, and Robert Littrell, Michael Pugh, Emory Smith, Lauren Littrell, Jerrick Littrell, and Lilliana Littrell and ten great grandchildren.
