Arthur Pratt

Arthur Pratt, age 80 of Pinetop, Kentucky passed away on Sunday October 19, 2025, at the Hazard ARH in Hazard, KY. He was born on January 25, 1945, in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Mirl and Alverta Slone Pratt. He was the husband of Juanita Parks Pratt.

Arthur is survived by his Wife: Juanita Pratt; Daughters: Barbara (The late George) Smith, Tammy (Darian) Ratliff;

Sister: Arretta Bates; Grandchildren: James Allen Smith, Brandie Tenae Pratt, Jessica Nicole (Brandon) Cox, Dustin Cole (Sarah) Ratliff; Great-Grandchildren: Brayden Jay Adams; Special Friends: Tommy Gibson, Gene Johnson, Junior Brown; A Host of Beloved Nieces, Nephews, Family & Special Friends

Arthur is preceded in passing by his Parents: Mirl and Alverta Slone Pratt; Son: James Arthur Pratt; Brothers: Yeart Pratt, Miles Pratt, Homer Pratt

The family will receive friends Wednesday October 22, 2025, 6PM-10PM and continue all day Thursday October 23, 2025, at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home Chapel in Hindman, KY. Service each evening at 7PM.

Funeral Services will be on Friday October 24, 2025, at 1PM at the funeral home chapel with Denzil Ratliff, Jamie Hughes and Bill Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at the James Arthur Pratt Cemetery in Pinetop, KY. Arthur will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
