Arthur Hagar, Jr.

Arthur George Hagar, Jr., 85, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025, in Dallas.

Services will be private at a later date.

Arthur was born on January 22, 1940, in Fort Worth to the late Arthur George Sr., and Martha Jane Hagar. He married Linda Mae Gregory on June 20, 1959. Arthur proudly served his country in the US Navy and was a ‘true patriot.’   Arthur was a handyman who was always working on a project! He also enjoyed taking care of his chickens.   Arthur was a friend to everyone and will be truly missed.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Linda; his children, Nancy and husband Royce Herod, Arthur George, III and wife Claire Hagar, and Thad Gregory Hagar; and by 6 grandchildren.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents.
