Arlene Maione

Arlene Maione, 80 of Valley Cottage, New York passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025. Born On January 3, 1945 in the Bronx, Arlene brought light and warmth to everyone around her for eight remarkable decades. She has lived in Rockland County for over 50 years where she had friends and neighbors that she valued and respected. She loved being part of the community.

She will be dearly remembered by her beloved family: daughter Jennifer Noci and son-in-law Zef Noci, son Scott Maione and daughter in law Tasha Ostler, brother Steven Schiff and her most prize possessions her grandchildren; Jackson Maione, Madison Maione, Sienna Maione and Miles Noci.

A gifted artist who had a deep passion for drawing, Arlene dedicated over 30 years to nurturing young creativity as an art teacher, fostering the creative endeavors of both high school students and young children. Following the tragic events of 9/11 The Dime Bank sponsored a calendar of her students work in memory of the events, that were shared in all the banks across New York.

Her spirit really touched everyone she met, inspiring students and family to follow their creative endeavors. But what Arlene cherished the most was family, being a mother and a grandmother and we will miss her terribly.
