ANTIONETTE ANTHONY

Antionette (Meena) Anthony of Yonkers, born November 22,1949 in Pakistan died unexpectedly on November 5th, 2024, while visiting family there. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by her sudden passing.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years Michael Anthony, her children Adele Whyte and Brian Anthony, son-in-law Ian Whyte, daughter in-law of Tawana Anthony, and grandchildren Ian Whyte, Bryana Anthony, Christopher Whyte, Nikole Whyte, Amari Anthony, Nicholas Whyte, and Shane Moore.

Antionette was known for her warmth, kindness and compassionate spirit. There were two things that Antionette never wavered from, her faith in God and her dedication to her family, especially her grandchildren. Her morning routine would be prayers followed by good morning messages to start everyone’s day with blessings and gratitude. Antionette is cherished by both blood ties and bonds formed from the heart across two continents. Antionette touched many lives and will be missed by them all.

She moved to the United States with her husband and two children in 1980 with one suitcase in hand and helped build a beautiful life despite all the hardships. Few of Antionette’s favorite things were cooking, sewing and shopping. She was a great cook; on any given occasion she would whip up delicious meals. Antionette also loved a good party, she loved to dress up, dance, and make memories. She lit up a room when she entered with her joyful presence. She was the glue that connected all the family and friends across two continents and now they are left heartbroken at her sudden passing.
