Anthony J. “Nick” Nickles, 83, of Catasauqua, died peacefully at home with his family by his side, Monday, May 26, 2025. He was the husband of Jeanette J. (Kotlik) Nickles and celebrated 58 years of marriage together on May 20 of this year. Born in Stiles, he was a son of the late Frank and Margaret (Strauch) Nickles.
Nick graduated from Whitehall High School. He honorably served his country in the Army during the Vietnam era and was stationed in Germany. After the service, he worked as a produce manager for a variety of businesses in the Lehigh Valley, eventually retiring from Ahart’s Market.
Nick was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Church of the Annunciation B.V.M of Catasauqua. Nick enjoyed golfing and trap shooting and was an avid New York Yankees and LA Rams fan. He loved making trips to the local casinos and a yearly trip to Las Vegas.
Above all he was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by many.
Surviving along with his wife, Jeanette, are his daughters Kim Pambianchi and husband Larry, and Michele Stine, grandchildren Nicole, Chris, Taylor and Ashley, brother Frank Nickles and wife Roxanne and 2 nephews.
His viewing will be held from 9-10am Monday, June 2, 2025, at St. Mary’s Church, 122 W. Union St. Catasauqua, PA 18032. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am at the church. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Sanctuary at Haafsville, 901 Nestle Way, Breinigsville, PA 18031. Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to handle the arrangements.
