Anna Priscilla “Guzman” Roybal passed away June 11, 2025 at 6:53pm from complications of Dementia surrounded by family at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Washington.
Anna was born February 12, 1941 in Billings, Montana to Fidencio and Lucy Roybal. Anna was one of eleven children. Her brothers and sisters are Virginia, George, Bernard, Jerry, Malex, Simon, Mary, Francis, Josephine, and Edward. Anna grew up in Yakima, Washington for most of her life, and later moved to Renton, Washington to be closer to her sons and grandchildren. Anna worked at canaries around Yakima and finally settled at Cintas. She worked at Cintas for several years in the laundry folding room area until she retired in 2006 due to a work injury. Anna loved going to town and checking out the shops. She loved animals, but most of all Anna loved being with her friends and family and attending festivities surrounded by loved ones.
Anna is survived by her four sons Mark (Tammy), Joe (Eleanor), Bobby (Rachel), and John (Brenda), her eight grandchildren Melissa, Simon (Veronica), Joseph III, Andrea (Afa), Isabella (Michael), Alanna, Jayla, and Jaydyn, and her nine great grandchildren Mackenzie, Daelynn, Harper, Farrah, Sophia, Kamilla, Jukari, Gabriel, and Phoebe.
A Memorial for our mother will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 8:30am at Shaw & Sons Funeral Home (201 N. 2nd St, Yakima, WA 98901) followed by burial at Terrace Heights Memorial Park at 10:00am. A Reception will be held at 1:00pm at the Broadway Grange #647 (909 W Washington Ave, Yakima, WA 98903). For those who knew Anna, and would like to pay their respects, you are welcome to attend. The family asks that if you come, in honor of Anna, wear something red, since it was her favorite color.
We would like to thank everyone who has reached out for their generous outpour of love and support. She was loved by many and will live on through our hearts, memories, and stories.
