BOISE, ID—Angeline “Angie” Agnes Seidler, 92, of Boise, ID, formerly of Fullerton, NE, passed away Friday, February 7, 2025, at Valley View Nursing and Rehab in Boise, ID.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 14, 2025, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Fullerton, with Reverend William L’Heureux officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Fullerton. A rosary will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by visitation leading up to the service, all at the church. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home is overseeing the arrangements.
Angie was born on April 26, 1932, in Belgrade, NE, to Thomas and Cecilia (Miller) Kula. When she was just two years old, her father passed away at the age of 37. Angie cherished her roots in Fullerton, NE, where she began working at a young age. After graduating from Fullerton High School in 1950, she worked at a restaurant before taking a job with the telephone company. Angie later moved to Omaha, NE, where she shared an apartment with her sister, Evelyn, and worked at First National Bank and thoroughly loved it.
Angie met her future husband, Don, at Evelyn’s wedding, and their romance continued through writing letters and talking on the telephone. They married on May 4, 1954, embarking on a life full of adventure. Don’s job took them across the world, living in Arizona, Missouri, California, Lima (Peru), Germany, New York, Saudi Arabia, Boise (Idaho), and England. Eventually, they settled in Boise, ID, in the home Angie had always dreamed of. Angie worked at Walgreens for 14 years.
She enjoyed bicycling, snowmobiling, square dancing, boating, roller skating, hosting dinner parties, and visiting Fullerton as often as possible.
Her greatest joy, however, was her grandsons. She never missed an opportunity to support them, attending school events and cheering them on at basketball, football, soccer, and lacrosse games . Her grandsons often stated that they could hear Grandma’s voice cheering them on! She sat through wind, rain, snow, and sun, never complaining, watching her grandsons. Christmas was her favorite holiday and she loved having the family celebrate together.
Angie is survived by her sons, Thomas (Mary Jane) Seidler and Donald (Denise) Seidler; daughter, Deborah K. Gaddie; grandsons, Austin and Kordell; and sisters, Evelyn Seidler and Clara Kula.
Angie is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Sr., and her parents.
The family would like to express our greatest appreciation to the wonderful staff at Valley View Assisted Living.
