Angela Beard

Angela M. Beard, born on September 25, 1981, in Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home in Etowah, North Carolina, on October 1, 2025, at the age of 44.

Angela dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a nurse at The Greens at Hendersonville, where her compassion and commitment touched the lives of many.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Lucille Iwaniszek; her aunt, Sherry Westmoreland; and her beloved mother, Beverly Sue “Baby Sue” Beard.

Angela is survived by her devoted husband, Gary Burkhart; her cherished daughter, Isabella Guerra; her step-daughters, Lillian Burkhart and Aliya Burkhart; her son, Caleb Beard; and her step-son, Elijah Steele. She also leaves behind her loving sister, Jill Kilby; her brothers, Darrell Shepard and Ronnie Kilby; her aunt, Deborah, and her husband, Bruce Boyd; her uncle, Marvin Hayne; and her cousins, Rebecca Stewart, Kristi Golden, and Karen Quinn.

The family will hold a service at a later date to honor Angela’s memory and celebrate her life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
