Alvie Fishburn

Alvie Fishburn, 84, of Springfield, Illinois, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. He was born June 18, 1941, in Springfield to the late Harry Fishburn and Kathryn (Sexton) Fishburn.

Alvie was a proud father to four children: Bill, Tammy, Robin, and Barbie. His family grew to include many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense pride and joy.

His closest family—Hilah, Robin, Rachal, Gary, Allie, Hilah, Valarie, and Chad—were especially dear to him, and he never missed an opportunity to remind them how deeply they were loved.

Visitation: 9:00 – 10:30 am, Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield.

Funeral 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Staab Funeral Home – Springfield with Reverend Michael Koschmann officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
