ALINA SERDAKOWSKA

ALINA A. SERDAKOWSKA, of White Plains NY, passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at age 90.

Alina was born September 24,1934 in Poland, where she received her medical degree before immigrating to the United States. Here, she developed a successful medical practice as a pediatrician and then later as an allergist.

In 1974, Alina became a mother to her son, Gregory Abramowitz, who she loved and doted on throughout her life, and with whom she cherished a close relationship.

Alina was known to her friends to be beautiful both inside and out. She was generous with everyone who was lucky enough to call her friend. She sponsored friends and went out of her way to offer professional advice and to lend her medical expertise when it was needed.

Alina loved to entertain and was always up for an adventure. Whether it was enjoying summers in the Hamptons or skiing in the winter, Alina knew how to have fun, and everyone loved to be in her orbit.

Alina is predeceased by her beloved sister Lila and her brother Wiesek. She is survived by her son, Gregory, and countless friends who will miss the joy she brought to every occasion.

Visitation for Alina will take place on Friday, February 21, 2025, in DUCHYNSKI-CHERKO Funeral Home from 9AM to 11AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Casimir’s Church at 11:30AM. Interment in Mount Hope Cemetry.
