Alice “Snookie” Pihonak
Alice ‘Snookie” Marie Pihonak, age 77, beloved wife of Stephen Pihonak of Stratford, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025. Mrs. Pihonak was born November 29, 1947, in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Wiilaim and Helen (Shepler) McDonald and had been a lifelong area resident.
She was a retired clerk for various companies and was a volunteer for many years at Franklin School, Stratford and Bridgeport Hospital.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include her children, Stephen Pihonak and Sarah Pihonak and her husband, Mike Jacobs; grandchildren, Stephen Pihonak, Bryan Pihonak, Anthony Pihonak, Riley Pihonak and Karl Jacobs; siblings, Kathleen, Elizabeth, Marylou, Sarah, William and Michael and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Jennifer and two siblings, Patricia and Joseph.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral service celebrated by Deacon John Piatak on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. in the William R. McDonald Funeral Home, 2591 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06615. Friends may visit with her family before service time from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
