Alice Kellogg, age 65 of Hinckley, IL passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Northwestern Kishwaukee Hospital in DeKalb, IL. She was born in Ironwood, MI on April 11, 1960 the daughter of Clyde and Grace (Tuukkanen) Knapp.
Alice was united in marriage on June 8, 1991 to Mr. Keith Kellogg and they spent the next 33 years happily together. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hinckley, IL. Alice dedicated her life to the service of others, working as a social worker for sexually abused women, a teacher’s aid for children with special needs, and a caregiver. She also served on numerous mission trips around the world to countries such as Ukraine, Romania, and Costa Rica. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Kellogg of Hinckley, IL; her children, Forrest Kellogg of Waterman, IL, Victoria Kellogg of Northbrook, IL, and Skyler Kellogg of Hinckley, IL; her brothers, Bruce (Marcie) Knapp of Plymouth, MN, David (Carmen) Knapp of Arlington, TX, Glenn (Margarita) Knapp of Laurium, MI; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Grace Knapp; and her sister, Linda Jane Knapp.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 23, 2025 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 12760 Lee Road, Hinckley, IL. Interment will take place in Jacobsville Cemetery, in Jacobsville, MI at a later date.
A Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Nash-Nelson Memorial, 141 N. Maple Street, Hinckley, IL.
