Albert E. Morrell, 74, of Brigantine passed away peacefully on Monday October 13, 2025 surrounded by his loving family at Pennsylvania Hospital. Al was born in Philadelphia to the late Tom and Anna (Lyons) Morrell.

Al was a day one employee at Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino. He was employed as a bartender for 30 years until the property closed in 2014. Al was a theater usher at the Hard Rock and he also worked part time at Lowe’s Home Improvement Store.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years Susanne S. Peterson and his sons Jason and Bradley, adopted sons Bobby Myers and Peter Sandora, special daughters-in-law Marie Elena and Chrissy. Al was all about family and the true joys of his life were his grandchildren Annalise Rose, Riley Grace and Brayden Shane to whom he was the “Very Best Poppy”. He is also survived by his siblings Tom, Lisa, Carolyn, Kevin, Suzanne and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins. He was truly one of a kind; he was much loved and will be sorely missed by all whose lives he touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Life Celebration visitation on Friday October 24, 2025 from 10-11am at St Thomas Church, 8th Street South, Brigantine. A Memorial Mass will follow at 11am. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
