Adela Jacquez (1938 – 2025)

Adela Jacquez, 87, of Daly City, CA (by way of Meoqui, Chihuahua, Mex.), passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, in Carmichael, CA.

She was born in Meoqui, Chihuahua, Mexico, on July 14th, 1938, to Luis and Julia Soto.

Adela was preceded in death by Luis and Julia Soto (parents), Elier Jacquez (husband), Aracely Jacquez (daughter), and various brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Elier Jacquez, Sergio (Mary) Jacquez, Luis (Scarlet) Jacquez, Dora (Rey) Alvarez, Margarita Jacquez, Griselda (Fernando) Jacquez, Lupe (Gary) Mirkovich, and Armida (Clay) MacDonald. Her sisters: Nelly Bazan and Lupe (Lalo✝) Loera, as well as 21 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and various nieces and nephews.

Duggan’s Serra Mortuary has been entrusted with her funeral arrangements. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, from 4 to 7 pm, followed by a Rosary at 7 pm at Duggan’s Serra Mortuary. A Catholic mass will be held at 10 am on Thursday, November 6th, 2025, at Holy Angels Church, located at 107 San Pedro Road, Daly City, CA. The burial will immediately follow the mass at the Italian Cemetery, Colma, CA.

Adela was a genuine and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She will be terribly missed by all. May she rest in God’s everlasting embrace.
