Adarsh Arora

Adarsh Bala Arora passed away peacefully at her home on November 19, 2024, at the age of 79. She is survived by her beloved husband, Panna Lal Arora, and her children, Umesh Arora and Alka Arora.

Adarsh was known for her boundless love, vivacious energy, and resilient spirit. She earned a master’s degree in psychology from Delhi University and dedicated much of her career to serving others as a registered nurse. Her compassionate nature shone through in her deep commitment to nurturing young children and uplifting those around her. She brought enthusiasm and laughter to her social circles, and found much joy in cooking, dancing, and Hindi music.

Adarsh was predeceased by her parents, Somnath and Prakash Ahuja, as well as her brothers, Ramesh and Subhash Ahuja.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Theis-Gorski Funeral Home, 3517 N. Pulaski Rd, Chicago, IL, with traditional Hindu funeral rites. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Maher Ashram, an orphanage in India, to honor her memory.

Adarsh’s generous heart and love of life left an indelible mark on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
