Abie Dingle

Abie Dingle, Son of the late Lula Mae Ragin and Emanuel Dingle and raised by Maybell Wright was born October 26, 1958 in Manning, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by six sisters, Joyce Dingle, Queen Carraway, Joann Nelson, Pearl Gardner, Mary Alice Hart and Daisy Mae Richardson and two brother James Dingle and Londell Charles.

He received his formal education in the Clarendon County, graduating from Scott’s Branch High School in 1979.

In his youth, he joined White Oak Church in Davis Station and was a faithful member. He loves to shop, cook and play with his grandchildren. He was employed at Orangeburg Correction as a cook. On May 25, 2024, Abie Dingle transitioned to our Heavenly Father.

He leaves to cherish his memories two loving sons, Keith and Reggie Ragin of Orangeburg, SC, one loving daughter Tara (Keith) Johnson of Manning, SC; five sisters: Lillie Brunson, Ada Pearson, Juanita Oliver, Helen Dingle of Manning, SC, Diana (Leroy) Lawson, of Summerton, SC; two brothers-in-law, Alfred Carraway and Ervin Nelson; a sister-in-law, Lillease Dingle; nieces and nephews reared like sisters and brothers, Shirl Richardson, Anthony Richardson, Shawn Lawson, Patrick Dingle, Roosevelt Wright, Levon Wright, Velta Wright, Johnny Lee Brandley; one grand aunt, Daisy Mae Ragin; one uncle Moses (Dorothy) Dingle of Manning, SC; two very close friend ,David Randolph and Dennis Goings; an additional host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
