4th annual ‘Move with the Mayor’ community cleanup happening Saturday in Carson City

The Carson City Parks, Recreation & Open Space Department, as part of the Move with the Mayor initiative, is hosting the 4th annual volunteer clean-up day at Lone Mountain Cemetery on Saturday, September 13th, from 9 to 11 a.m.

We invite your organizations, families, and friends to volunteer. This community event is a great way to volunteer and socialize with other local volunteers.

Volunteer work will focus on weed removal around headstones and markers. Coffee, snacks, additional water, and necessary tools will be provided.

We encourage volunteers to wear long pants, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen – and if you are part of a group, wear your organization’s swag with pride.
