Mike Haffner, Broncos Legend, Dies at 82

Mike Haffner, a former Denver Broncos wide receiver and longtime sports broadcaster, passed away at the age of 82 after a lengthy illness. Haffner, who played college football at UCLA, joined the Broncos in 1968 and spent three seasons with the team before finishing his career with the Cincinnati Bengals. His most memorable moment as a Bronco was a diving catch against the New York Jets in 1969. After retiring as a player, Haffner transitioned to broadcasting, working as a color commentator for NBC and KMGH-TV in Denver.
