Donald Chandler
Donald Robert Chandler 76, of Star City passed away Sunday, April 13, 2025 at his home. Mr. Chandler was born March 22, 1949 in Glen Falls, New York to the late Durwood and Charlotte Colvin Chandler. Donald was a United States Marine veteran, and worked most of his life in security. Mr. Chandler was also a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose. Donald enjoyed watching football, and loved playing Bingo and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Elaine Chandler of Star City, two sons; Anthony Robert Chandler of Star City, and Matthew David Chandler of West Virginia, three daughters; Jodie Lynn Chandler of Star City, Shelby Morgan Holzapfel of Star City, and Dakota Leigh Little (Darryl) of Star City, one brother, David Chandler (Jill) of New York, one sister, Donna Nichols (Michael) of New York, twelve grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held 4:30pm Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 519 Glenwood Dr. Monticello, AR. The family will hold a celebration of life at 6:00pm Friday, May 2, 2025 at his home, 1300 Cane Creek Rd. Star City, AR 71667. Elder Roger LaBossiere will officiate.
