Keith was born on July 16, 1964, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Ivan and Juanita Ament Booth. He graduated from Kennedy High School in 1983.

He was a man loved by all, always smiling, kind, down to earth and outgoing, Keith was someone everyone knew. He loved to spend time with his family, doing anything for them to make them happy.

Keith was someone who had many challenges with illnesses in his life. Both his physical and mental health had many ups and downs, but he was someone who always stayed strong until the very end.

Keith, in past years, loved to spend time with his friends at the Red Fox in Palo, Iowa and at the Pearl Street Social Club in Shellsburg, Iowa, and often would reminisce about these days. A lot of love, laughter, smiles, and socializing was shared at this time.

Keith was an avid lover and fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes football team, never missing a game no matter what the occasion may be. In recent years he had picked up a love of reading, gravitating toward memoirs and biographies.

Keith worked for the City of Cedar Rapids as a bus driver for 14 years. He truly enjoyed this job, talking to riders and always coming home with a new story to tell. The family would like to thank the Transit family for all of their love and support during his illness.

Keith is survived by his son Travis Booth of Cedar Rapids; daughter Claire Booth of Ely; two, brothers Kevin (Sue) Booth and Kenneth (Julie) Booth; sister Kristin Riffey; nieces and nephews, Nicole (Brad) Langer, Andrea Booth (Brad), Cole, Cali and Cari Travis and great-grandniece Amaya Langer; and his dog MaggieMay.
